Sali Oyugi
Recently a connection between the movie Blood Diamonds and Hemingway was suggested on the Hemingway Society message board.
I thought of Hemingway's characters right away on first watching Blood Diamonds this past weekend. And I thought of my friend Sali Oyugi. She sings a song for the Child Soldiers that will melt your heart. Her song Ngoma would no doubt be one of Papa's favorites as it is mine.
