I highly recommend watching Paris: The Luminous Years: The Making of the Modern. It's a fascinating two-hour documentary from 2010 about the Paris arts scene of 1905-1930. My parents moved to Vegas when i was 10 and my Grandpa was a bit of a rogue like Papa...He was bigger than life and in those days drinking and smoking were all the norm.I picked up the copy of life magazine and read article about Papa and was quite besmirched with him at a tender but mature age of 10.So i started reading his books and loved him ever since.I wish that he did not have those silly shock treatments because thats what wrecked his memory

Steve: Indeed we may have met in Ft. Lauderdale. My wife and I had our first trip to the Keys at that time...landed in Ft. L and drove down. I wasn't writing Hem plays then.
I will be in Pamplona in mid July for publicity and will then return to Key West for encore performances of HEMINGWAY'S HOT HAVANA on July 22 and 23. Get your fine self down there and be sure to come and say hello after the show.
